Beth is a good, loving, progressive Jewish mother. Her son is bringing his girlfriend (of one year) home for the first time. She happens to be black. Easy, right?

A critical (and funny) look at the things we never knew lived in our own heads.

The first time I read “Nia” I was offended. Totally entertained and engrossed, too. I knew we had to put this play to the test in a Jewish environment.
— David Winitsky
