11th Annual Jewish Playwriting Contest Top 7
AN INTERNATIONAL SEARCH FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF JEWISH THEATER
For eleven years, the JPC has been scouring all corners of the English-speaking world for the most fascinating, compelling, and daring playscripts that embrace the intersection of Jewish identity and 21st century life.
THE 11th Annual Jewish Playwriting Contest FINALISTS
The Jewish conversation today is vastly different than the one the JPP started with 10 years ago. We are proud to present seven playwrights who are asking the questions that matter now.
Immigration. Nationality. Family. Revenge. An interracial adoption in Orthodox Brooklyn. A Torah passing from Russia to Iowa to Columbia. A radical feminist Jewish prophetess.
This is the reason the JPP exists: to bring these stories to you, to create community dialogue around the things that matter, and ultimately, to champion these plays as they move onto the best stages in the world. We’re excited for you to be a part of our journey.
Stay Connected to the Contest and all the latest JPP happenings!
