Show of Hands

Playwright Jessica Fleitman

Show of hands

by jessica fleitman

Sarah was born with two thumbs on each hand - a real life chamsah. Will her musical gift lead her back to the father who abandoned her at six years old?

The image of the chamsah, the mystical hand inherited by Jews from the Muslim world - forms an emotional backdrop to this fascinating familial tale.
— Artistic Director David Winitsky
