When aspiring writer Tabatha Meier tweets a racially-charged joke, she faces fallout both personal and professional. Her boyfriend dumps her, she loses her job, and her devoutly religious mother feels embarrassed and betrayed. Little does Tabatha know that's only the beginning, as her public shaming reveals a dark secret and forces her whole family to face the past in a new way.

Joanna Castle Miller is a playwright, satirist, and producer whose recent work includes the plays My Child Blank, The Storehouse, Static Sun (McNerney Award Finalist), Sh@med (2020 Kilroy’s List), and Fox News the Musical. Her short plays include The World’s Next Tooth Fairy Is Marci Peterson, Parasite, and Being Heard Academy. Her TV/film work includes Keep This Far Apart (We the Women), Sorta My Thing, and Ash. Joanna's writing and comedy have appeared in Time, McSweeney’s, The Belladonna, and The Hill. She is the founder and executive producer of Wait Don’t Leave Productions and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. Joanna enjoys good bourbon, bad words, and quality time. She and her husband live in Los Angeles.
