To Cross a River

To REACH ACROSS A RIVER

by Marshall Botvinick

Yehudis and her husband spent years struggling with infertility. After her marriage falls apart, she decides to adopt a biracial girl, forever altering her relationship with the ultra-Orthodox community she grew up in.

— David Winitsky
